The notebook was brought here by the founder of ZHYVAGO from a strange general store in Portland, USA, and is filled with random drawings by various people, including regular customers, customers who just happened to stop by for a coffee, and staff.

I was curious and asked an American regular who often comes to the bar how to use the notebook. It seems that people write things like "things they don't want to do" or the opposite meaning. By the way, our staff member Kana uses it as a barista notebook.

When you slide the tip of the pen over the slightly rough MD paper, you can hear a small sound coming from the tip. This notebook has the characteristic that it does not bleed through or smudge even when written with a fountain pen, and has an exquisite texture that allows you to savor the feeling of writing. It opens fully 180 degrees, making it a stress-free writing experience. It uses "thread-sewn binding", which is characterized by its ease of opening and durable finish.
